Kendra- I did it, I made the coffee cake recipe that you posted but I like ours better! The one posted was way too sweet (and I love sweet stuff) with the cake mix. I was glad I had made eggs and had orange juice to absorb the sweetness. To get more topping on ours just triple it like we did growing up.

Miles
1. I love balls and have a cool stance when throwing the ball to you while you’re looking or not (usually not). I do have a pretty good arm so watch out!
2. I love books and am just now able to look at them without destroying them- almost.
3. When I wrestle with my brother I can usually get him to cry.
4. I have bitten my nails ever since I knew I had nails (mom rarely has to cut them).
5. I have five teeth between my eye teeth; we get to go to my first dentist apt on Valentines Day to get it checked out.
6. I started talking late but when I finally did it was in full sentences. My favorite saying “whatchya say?”.
7. I am now going through the stage of unzipping my PJ’s at night and taking my diaper off – I must be getting ready for potty training.
8. When I get up in the morning I have to watch cartoons before we eat breakfast or I freak out and when I am ready for breakfast I relentlessly tug on Mom until she gets it for me.

Evan
1. I love preschool and have new friends there; Ethan, Vicky and Katie (my girlfriend). I have learned to use more imagination while playing with my new friends at recess. We play good guys and bad guys and pirates in the big toy boat.
2. I am really good at Nintendo Game Cube- Monster’s Inc. where you throw balls and try to hit everyone with them.
3. I really miss going to Grandma’s house three days a week (Mom really misses it too).
4. I love spending time on my computer playing at PBS kids and Starfall.com.
5. Before winter started my favorite thing to do outside was to ride my bike when we went for a walk. I like to ride down the hills fast.
6. I always have to have my stuffed bear, monkey and my pillow (mom made out of cloth diapers when was 2yrs old) with me when I sleep and rest, if I don’t I freak out.
7. I eat pretty clean. I don’t like my hands dirty. If I spill something I don’t want to touch it to pick it up because it will dirty my hands. I also like my chair and table clean (I believe I get the clean freak side from mom, grandma, great grandma…although I don’t mind having my toys left out, I do like them lined up nicely though).
8. I like playing games like UNO, Memory and Hungry Hungry Hippos and I am really competitive. I will get mad/sad if I don’t win.

Here are some still images taken Christmas Eve of the boys burning off a bit of energy. We normally put a stop to this behavior (for Evan's wellbeing) but realized quickly this would be a benefit for us to have them worn out and ready for bed for Santa's arrival.

On Dec 18th at 12:10am Lucas Ryan Weeks joined our family, 8lbs 12oz and 20 1/2in long. His long awaited arrival was over rather quickly, which Raelene was grateful for. It was so quick that he had a perfectly round head (which Raelene is not so grateful for). Evan loves holding his new brother and Miles is fascinated by him. We are thankful that he is with us and is healthy.
